摘要:In order to estab1ish an a1gin industry in our country, we carried out a series of
experiments from 1952 to 1955, concerning to the extract10n of algin from Sargassum
pallidum, an a1ga occurring abundantly along the North China coast. The resu1ts obtained
have shown that a1gin extracted from. Sargassum pallidum was quite satisfactory
in qua1ity and the yie1d was good enough. Based on these resu1ts, an a1gin factcry was
founded at the beginning of 1957 in Tsingtao, utilizing this species of Sargassum as its
raw material.
摘要:Studies were made on the seasonal variations in yield and quality, as expressed inviscosity, of the algin of Sargassum pallidum collected monthly from Damaido, Tsingtao from 1954 to 1955.Fresh water treated raw material after collection usually gave higher viscosity than the untreated.
摘要:In this paper, the results obtained from an investigation on the seasonal variationsin the yield and the viscosity of sodium alginate from Sargassum kjellmanianum and S.thunbergii collected in Tsingtao, North China, as well as the yield and the viscosity of many other Sargassums from the South China were reported.
摘要:Since 1954.we have observed that the algin of Sargassum pallidum were very unstable, and have therefore studied the influences of pretreatment and storage conditions for raw material on the viscosity of algin produced, and also studied the viscosity change of alginatc products under various storage conditions. The following results were obtained.
摘要:Since in recent years artificial cultivation of Laminaria japonica has been practiced in large scale on a great part of the China coast, it is now possible to consider utilizing this plant as the raw material for algin manufacture. 1n order to furnish some basic data to the algin manufacturers, some experiments dealing with the extraction conditions were carried out and the following results were obtained.
摘要:Among the methods for the determination of alginic acid in brown algal samples, the carbazole colorimetric method is the most convenient and accurate one.But the method as employed by earlier workers has many drawbacks and so up to date it was seldom used. 1n the present investigation we have tried to improve the method and make it practicable for alginic acid determination in the routine analysis of algal samples.
