The present paper is a short report on the Thoracic Cirripedia (Crustacea) from the Nansha Islands and its neighbouring waters. The material for this study was collected by the South China ?Sea Institute of Oceanology, Academia Sinica, in 1984. Five species belonging respectively to 3 Suborders and four families are identified. They are Scalpellum stearnsii Pilsbry, Octolasmis orthogonia (Darwin)， Megalasma (Megalasma) striatum Hoek, Solidobalanus cidaricola (Ren & Liu) and Verruca (Rostratoverruca) koehleri Gruvel. Solidobalanus cidaricola (Ren & Liu) is reported for the first time from the South China Sea.
