This paper deals with the trace minerals in fish nutrition. Iron, copper, manganese, zinc and selenium as components of body fluids, cofactors in enzymatic reactions, and structural units of nonenzymatic macromolecules, are essential trace minerals in fish nutrition. The importance of trace minerals as essential ingredients in diets, although in small quantities, is also evident in fish.
