In June and July, 1978, the research vessel “Jinxing”of our institute made a synthetic oceanology investigation to the Okinawa trough and adjacent waters. Some deep-sea fishes were obtained in the bottom trawl (Agassiz trawl)when the collections of benthos were made. In this paper 14 species of deep-sea fishes, belonging to 14 genus, 12 families and 9 orders, are reported. The morphological characters of these species are descriped briefly and illustrated.
