The present paper presents the results of a study of the Enteropneusta of the intertidal zones of our seas collected by the Institute of Oceanology, Academia Sinica. Six species belonging to four genera and two fami1ies are identified. Saccoglossus hwangtauensis (Tchang et Koo) , Glossobalanus polybranchioporus Tchang et Liang, and Balanoglossus misakiensis Kuwano, have been previously reported while Glossobalanus mortenseni Horst, Balanoglossus carnosus (Willey) , and Ptychodera flava Eschscholtz, are first records for our seas; their external features and internal anatomy are described in detail and some features differing from those described in earlier reports are discussed. A key for the identification of the Chinese Enteropneusta is also given.
